GODDESS RECIPE
She should not be afraid to care
And she should be as fierce in presence
as the moon and she should show her
face in darkness, full of blue light.
She should be made of honey
She should melt and drip
She should be very commanding
yet be able to inspire pity
when necessary.
Her eyes should be very large
and made of water like lakes
or sudden darkness and inspired
with cries.
A Goddess should heal with her sex
And should show no worry, nor fear
if harm should come to her in the process.
A Goddess should be wet as a cave
during a storm, inside but cool in
her soul, like a mossy forest pool.
A Goddess should love animals
A Goddess should shake her hips
like bells
Her body should shift its shape
to please the eye
She should be often misunderstood,
mysteriously obvious.
She should accept sacrifice.
She should bless her fires
by breathing upon them.
A Goddess should twist and
curve and ripple like water.
A Goddess should sprout seed
with her actions.
A Goddess should be infinite sky,
endless air.
A Goddess should flicker and flare
dangerously if not respected.
A Goddess should take the words from your mouth
with one look.
She should have the power to make you
forget everything.
A goddess should shine like the sun.
She should be daybreak.
A goddess should be free.
Her brow unfurrowed.
A goddess should cast hypnotic spells,
her calculations perfect.
Her soul should be the color purple.
Her hands should be supple and
lined with experience.
Her feet should be splendid
and intelligent.
A goddess should be free from death.
She should experiment.
She should have a sumptuous palace
and opulent garments.
She should scorn complications.
She should be everywhere complimented.
She should have the scent
of flowers and rain.
